I know there are a ton of lists of top 10 or whatever number plugins for WordPress that every site should have etc… but here’s my list. As a web designer, I have been a wordpress user for years and I ...

So…. I finally finished my first real package design project for the Shane Pruitt Band. This was a custom designed concept for the band’s newest album which features a cross-cut of a tree to represent the years of a life placed on my vintage turntable to look a record (no – there were no trees harmed in the making of this album cover!) – This is a project that I have been showing off to everybody because I am so proud of how the finished product looks.

I know this doesn’t really apply here (in this city anyways) but imagine for just a minute that we live in a city with a relevant mass transit system. Why take the bus instead of driving? Well that’s easy – Save your time, energy, and resources by letting someone else drive. That is the premise for my newest project. Why would you have someone like me design your website or your logo for you? In one word? Efficiency. You will save time, energy, and resources (your money) by choosing a ...

This is a magazine I designed for First Baptist Church in Spartanburg. This was a redesign of the quarterly publication put out by the church. The map spread was also my own illustration. We are currently working on the next issue so I’ll post as soon as it is ready. I am still working on this page so the images above may not be exact representations of the printed pages. Some images appear out of proportion or over scaled.

sites, emailers, online ads…
Web design is not just websites but anything that I design for online use. This includes interactive e-mails & e-mail marketing, online advertising, slideshows, and of course, web sites. The hidden aspect of web design is the search engine optimization (SEO) – which is the most important part of your online branding strategy. Getting the search engines to associate your site with your potential client’s search terms is essential to an effective marketing strategy.
Here are some links to sites I have created or had a part in ...

I do a lot of print work… from ads in magazines & newspapers, to posters, flyers, and direct mailers. No matter the medium – the message has to be clear and the design has to be good. click on the thumbnails below to see more.

It’s a logo for Columbia Crossroads Church summer missions program in which they will do different types of mission work in and around the city with their main focus being serving others. When I was told about the project, I pictured in my head something like this…

… which I sketched out and copied to the computer. Hopefully the message here is clear – that the city is being lifted up by servanthood. The only other development so far has been to add color and fix a few ...

Have you been shopping for baby clothes lately? If you are like me and have looked for something unique and cheap then you have likely been disappointed by the selection out there. Don’t get me wrong, there are some cool things that you can dress a baby with – it’s just that it’s all way out my price range – I especially like the style of some of the ones at babywit.com but can’t afford to buy one tiny little ...
